Why do releases from a band with the same name appear on my page?

Unfortunately, it may happen that your artist name or the name of your band already exists. For the stores it is in most cases not clear in advance that it concerns different artists and so your releases are merged with those of your namesake. Fortunately, Spotify and iTunes / Apple Music offer the possibility to “split” your releases, and thus ensure that those of the artist of the same name are placed on a different page. Send your split request to info@anjisamusic.com and we will submit it to both platforms. With Google Play Music you can solve the problem of duplicate artist names by claiming your own artist page. Unfortunately, other stores do not currently offer an option to split releases from artists of the same name.
